Snow Children!!!

Well, Weymouth was under a lovely big blanket of that white fluffy stuff, that we call Snow!!!! ha ha

Now you have to understand how exciting that is for us Weymouthians, cause being right on the seashore, we very very very hardly ever ever get any snow at all, lol so you can imagine how absolutely delighted my children were this morning, especially when they didn't have to go to school as well.

I worked from home, via the internet!!! boooo and the girls went and played snowballs and built a snow lady he he

Oooh so funny, this photo is of my three, with my eldest, being extremely grumpy as the middle one had just put a lovely nice wet and very cold snowball down her back!!!! can you tell ha ha
Absolutely love this photo, shows just how happy they were to be making that much awaited for snow lady. This was the first innings, they finished it off a few hours later lol

Wow - an award

Lia over at http://cardsandmorebylia.blogspot.com/ gave me an award, how sweet is that, am super chuffed, especially as I have been missing from blogland for a fair few months now, thank you sooooo much Lia

Now I know I need to mention 10 favourite bloggers, but omgoodness that is gonna be soooo difficult, so I will have to give this some very careful consideration and pop back later and put these up, thanks so much again Lia xx

Spa Divas!!!

Hiya guys

I am loving this Rubber Romance stamp i purchased off their online store, its soooo cute for all your girly girlfriend cards.

This first one is made for my Aunt, who turned 60 last weekend, and she had a great time. I didn't go mad with putting 60 on it, went for a little more understated for her!!!! ha ha Colored image in using my copics etc

The second card was for my cousin Jenny, who turned 24 on Friday of last week. We hit the town on Saturday night and had great fun!!! he he he have to confess to loving this part of getting divorced!!! lol

Anyways, again using this beautiful stamp plus the Spa Diva text stamp that I also got, I love this card.

I can think of many things to do with this stamp, ie decoupage etc

Congratulations Kitty and Trooper

As promised, I did make a card last night. Now this is all thanks to a very special man in my life for making me believe that I can be happy again after a really horrible 7 months. I have realised that when I am happy, then I can create. Now I know I am not going to let this creativeness take over my life like it did for a long time, but there is space in my life to slot a bit of creativeness in without losing the rest of it.

Well my best friend has just got engaged to a lovely bloke and I wanted to make them a card. I used the ever gorgeous Penny Black stamp "Squeeze till I Squeak", sooo cute. Coloured in using my copics, of course, and then I pulled out my nestabilities, big shot, Stampin Up scalloped border punch, some pretty cardstock I had on my desk and hey presto, I whipped up this cute card. I took inspiration from Amy Rysavy's recent card layout.

Hope you like, and I hope to be back really soon, with another card, got a few birthdays coming up so cross fingers!!! he he

Long Time

Hi

Well really not sure if anybody still reads my blog lol, cause its been a horrendously long time since I posted anything, but just wanted to update my life story!!! he he

Things are going really well for me and the girls now, new year etc etc. I have lost in the region of about 3 stone in weight now, and feel absolutely fantastic for it. My girls are thriving, which at the end of the day is the main thing, and the best thing.

I am enjoying life and know that things are only going to get better, and hopefully sorted soon.

For everybody that still pops over - thank you so much. I am hopefully going to actually, make a card this evening for my friend's engagement, sooooooo crossed fingers I might actually have something to put on here in the next couple days!!!! ha ha ha

Elzybells Challenge 7

Hiya Girls

Well don't you just hate email!!!! lol - I actually did my challenge card for this one and sent it on over to Elizabeth but she never received it!!! arrhhhhh

So I have sent it again, but I am a little late in putting it on my blog as have been away for a long weekend, where I had a fantastic time and it incorporated my Christmas works do in London, of all places, Syon Park for a Bond theme night. It was tremendous fun, with great company, lots of laughs and plenty of dancing.

This challenge was a great design sketch by Michelle from Card Grotta (link on the left).

I used my Craftwork Cards designer papers that I got at the Newbury Show this year, and of course the very gorgeous Elzybells stamps.

I coloured in using my Copic Ciao pens and cut out using my circle nestabilities that I got from the States.

Elzybells Challenge Cards

Okay, well you all know I am the worst blogger on the face of the planet at the moment, but hopefully you also know that i have been having some problems in my personal life. Now part of my personal life is going okay, but other part is still up in the air and to be honest very unsettling but hey that seems to be my life for this half of the year. I am hoping that next year will finally be my year.

Now I have also been sadly lacking in my Design Team duties for Elzybells, for which I also apologise to not only Elizabeth but all my fellow DT members as well.

I made this card this afternoon, late again, but I really enjoyed making it, which is a good think I am thinking at the moment.

This was for paper piercing, and these gorgeous Elzy girls really work sooooo well with that.

Now this card was for the challenge before I believe, and I actually did make it in time and then a lot of stuff happened and I just totally forgot to photograph it and it kind of got shoved under stuff on my desk!!!!! ooopsy - but I hope you like

For one night only!!!! lol

Hiya girls

Well for one night only I am back lol, i made this card for one of my best friends and my aunt, who turned Nifty 50 today.

I adore this stamp by Rubber Romance, its fantastic for all your girly cards. I will admit that it took me two days to create this, nuts i know, but I started it and then just sat and looked at it and couldn't think what on earth to do with it. Then this morning I just knew and threw it together, and I love it. She did as well, which is all that counts.
